TGIF! If I really HAD a Friday...
Well, Bunny hasn't had another episode that I have noticed. So, here I am left with what to do. Should I keep her appt. next week at the vet or just keep watching her? I think I will bring her in so that my very wonderful vet can give me ideas on how else to proceed. Thanks to Miss Mimi on the epilepsy idea. I will do some research on that. Someone else suggested maybe diabetes, but she certainly doesn't have a LOSS of appetite. She is oh too excited when I feed her, as well as even touch the can opener (weird considering her food is a pop top and I have never had any that ned opening) All I have to do is bring the can opener out of the drawer and she is doing the circle eights and puts her paws up on the cupboards to try and see what I am opening. Crazy kitty! We'll see what happens next week. She IS sleeping a lot, but wouldn't you if you had no other responsibilities than to wake your mom up in the morning?
I am having a nightmare with my car. I know what they mean now when they say "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" I was getting some new spark plugs, kind of a half-assed tune-up, from a new mechanic that Liza uses. Well, he had my car for a day then called to say the platinum plugs didn't run right in my car, so he put the old ones back and I picked my girl up yesterday. Except that when I was driving down the road it jerked and sputtered. He said it ight be plug wires. (Ummmm, at a mere $100!!) I almost broike into tears, since it ran perfectly fine BEFORE I brought her there!) He said he would try to find out fix it was only and and fix it without replacing them all. So, this morning I had to go drop her off again. I had a guitar lesson last night so needed something to get me there.
since I couldn't find a ride I brought my bike a rode the 3 1/2 miles back to town. If he DOES fix it today I will need to still bring it back next week to put in the OTHER plugs. What a nightmare! I am surprised at how lost I am without my Jetta. Even knowing you can get from one end of my town to the other within 5 miles I wouldn't want to ride my bike. The hills are a little much for my old age...
I am loving NOT having a land line at home! I am able to turn off my phone at 10pm and on at 9am. No telemarketers, no drunk parent calling, yippee! Now I just have to remember to plug it in to get charged up. I left it on last night and she is dead right now.
I wish I could get into my current committee assigment for a big event we have here at the end of the month. Totally political bullshit that I will never volunteer for again! I was surprised at the politics and crap in this little town of mine. Oh, for a chunk o' land and no debt!
I DID get a consolidation loan, well I am waiting for approval right now. This little $15K will go far in helping my only make one big payment instead of 8 small ones that I need to make sure I get there on time. A little nervous about this, for some reason, but I will actually save myself around $100 per month and can always sock that on to it separately.
Got a good 11 hours of sleep last night. That means I am getting OVER twice as much sleep as I used to get when I was in the corporate world in Michigan.
Got a new music book last night after my lesson, "Lounge Music" for guitar. I wil start learning a few of my favorites: Girl from Impanema, Fever, Downtown. Give me a few years and I will be appearing in your local martini bar! No 'Smelly Cat" though, sorry!
I am grateful for: bananas that FINALLY got ripe, new guitar picks, and postage stamps.
» miss any?
tick tock you're another year older.
