miss responsible can breathe

So I keep complaining about why I have been sick so much, and why I can sleep like the dead, and why my bunny is having seizure-like things.

Well, it's called carbon monoxide poisoning!

Last weekend my friend (who is a psychic) mentioned that I should really call the gas company. Well, Monday I did and the gas guy was there in 10 minutes (thank you small, mountain town!). He had been there before, so he knew my sluml.., I mean landlord. It seems my old ratchety radient floor heater is kicking out 95 ppm of death gas to me and my beloved bunny. And I only really noticed it after a month of having the windows and doors closed up. I made him check the neighbors apt. too, and go figure...the water heater was red tagged 2 years ago for the same problem. It should have been replaced then. He red-tagged both the furnace and water heater so I was left in the cold, literally. Luckily I had yesterdaty off so no one had to smell my 2 day old stank. Yes, I refuse to take cold showers unless absolutely an emergency.

So, the problem was fixed late Tuesday afternoon. Lo and behold I woke up at 7am this morning, feeling great! Actually did laundry and the library and a bike ride before I opened the showroom. Now THAT'S what I remember. Hopefully it is not just a burst of adrenalin that got me up this am and I will be back to my old schedule. Morning time is good. Even Bunny was awake and ready to get me up today. Fresh air is a good thing!

I am anxiously waiting on an approval for a debt consolidation loan. I swear I will be debt-free by the age of 36 or 37. Oh geez, that's a scary thought. I should realize there is no debt police and that everyone is in debt, right? Well, I hate being in debt. It is a major cause of depression for me. But I will get over it soon. Crazy, it only took a whole 17 years of BEING in debt to ralize how much I hate it. Friends, please do not let your college kids get a credit card. That's where my trouble started. Because it's "Free Money!!" right? Well, that's what it feels like. And if you or your college kids need a credit card, do the american express thing. At least you HAVE to pay that off every month and you make wiser choices on how you charge.

Okay, enough responsible talk for now!! Geez, this growing up thing is bizarre...

I am grateful for: Chai to go, good college radio deejays, clean clothes that are also PUT AWAY already.
