walkin' on sunshine

I am back at the showroom for a few days then back to the new job. I know I only started last Sunday, but I really love it! Even if I hated the work, the views, fresh mountain air and the sound of the resident eagle are enough to keep my satisfied.

So, I had a first 'date' with the new guy, Ryan. We were originally going to go to dinner at a super expensive seafood joint (my new boss gave me $75 g.c. to enjoy). But we ended up getting movies and making tacos, so no real 'date' I guess!? (what does a date entail anyway?) It was nice to cuddle on the living room floor and kick back. I am so comfortable with him and really haven't felt like that before. Normally I can go for a few hours then need my 'space'. And yes we fell asleep on the floor (no sex) and woke up early and talked for hours. But this was the 3rd night he stayed over with only cuddling and making out. I am totally smitten right now. I hope my past behaviour doesn't show up and I dump him after a few weeks. He is so sensual, and a great kisser too! I am wondering how long I will last before I can't stand it any longer and need to ravish him. But we are taking it slow and keep talking about that. Amazing how wonderful communication is!

I spent all of yesterday grinning from ear to ear. Is it wrong to be too happy?? I would like to walk with my feet on the ground sometime in the future, but will enjoy this for now.

And I had the absolute best massage in my life yesterday. He did some rolfing and myofascial corrective stuff. I was drooling for about an hour afterward. I even went home and took a nap on the 'bed' I made in the living room. Yes, a nap, during the day, while the sun was streaming in the windows. Wow, what a concept! And what a day off. And then I ended my day with Ryan stopping by to say goodnight. He was in the neighborhood? Oh how I wish I could have dragged him up to bed and cuddled all night again, waking to great conversation in the wee hours of the morning.

Have to get the store in some order for packing up, etc. in the next few days. I just realized that I won't have anternet service from March 1 through April 30 due to no phone line at home. I wonder if I can hook something up to my cell phone!? Well, I can always got to the library to update and catch up on my favorite d-landers.

I am grateful for: time, strong hands, and being illegally happy!
