The owners are on vacation. And I have to deal with a couple that don't seem to understand that you don't need to do a 6 hour job in 12. And bitch about it the whole time. I am on a mission. They will be gone or shaped up by May 1. I almost quit on Friday beacuse the woman was such a whining little butch. She doesn't seem to understand that I am being groomed to run the place when they are gone, or at least take a little pressure of the owners when they are there.
And aside from the 45 minute drive (that will end in 2 weeks) I really like the job. It is so beautiful out there that I treasure my days. Even if I am engrossed in phone calls and Quickbooks stuff.
So, Ryan and I got the most perfect house. We can move in on April 4th. 3 bedrooms and a huge garden to plant veggies and flowers in. The closet is the size of our bedroom now!! I keep telling him a big closet and washer/dryer is a necessity for making a girl happy.
We are turning into an old married couple. Since we both get home late, we eat dinner and basically fall asleep in the middle of a movie. We are back to not being able to watch a full movie without falling asleep. I think things will change when we get into the new place. And it is only $985. Instead of $1350 (which we are paying for both our apartments). I know some think that is ridiculous, but really a steal for the area. Note to self: never move to a ski town if you are broke. But what have I said before...poverty with a view.
I am really worried about one of the dogs. Last night he was fine, but this morning he had diarrhea all over the kitchen rugs and has been puking. Now he is dehydrated and wouldn't even eat his food. Ryan thinks he may have eaten a cat turd and ingested some of the scoopable litter, thus plugging him up. I hope he feels better soon. I know Ryan is a little freaked since Steve is 11 years old.
Bunny, on the other hand, is loving it here. Since she doesn't go roll around on my dirty patio she is actually white again. And she sleeps with both of us. Ususally she won't get near my bed if someone is in it with me. But I think she likes her new daddy. His cat is another story. Poynge is an 8 lb. tabby with the pipes of a mountian lion. I think he will chill once we move. He is also an outdoor cat so only comes home every other night. I feel like I live on a farm sometimes. Especially with stinky puppy, Spank. But he's another chapter.
I will post some pics as soon as I get a new digital camera. I had to give it up to uncle once we closed the showroom. I miss it!!
I miss you.
