So I have been at my job being manager of this bed and nreakfast for over a year now. I have my 'revie/evaluation" tomorrow and get my bonus check.

Today my boss gave me her idea of what my job will be this year. Funny, I was originally Manager, now I am "operationl innkeeper'. I don't know how to take that. She has hired me a bookkeeper. I don't have the time during the day to accurately work on the book and I appreciate that. But what is my new title all about? When I worked in the corporate crap world your title was everything. I could find a better job when I was "Event Director". So I don't know if I should take this in a bad way or not?

Tonight I need to work on my ideas for the coming year and where I fit in. Meeting is at 9am.

I brought my ex's dog back today. I really will miss him, except for the "I need to follow you everywhere even if it is only for 2 feet' thing. And also maybe the "I don't like the sound of plastic bags or phone ringers". He is such a sweet pea and even though he doesn't know how to share a bed (He sleeps horizonatally instead of vertically, bed wise) I still will miss that sweet smiling face, with his lip stuck on one side over a weird tooth on the left, when I am on the can in the morning and all he wants to do is play.

So my boss is proposing 1. an extra week vacation (making 3 weeks in the off-season Nov-Apr), free rent in the trailer if I am on-call 5 nights per week, another $1,000 on my annual bonus (currrently $4,000) and the possibility of an MSA or 401K. I would prefer the MSA, but still need to ponder that one. And all this with no pay increase. Do you think I should suggest something else?

I am very frustrated thinking I will make an agreement to do another year there without a pay increase, but who knows. I know they do the 'bonus' thing after a year to retain me, but what should I do?

I am perplexed right now and any insight will help.
