What a long strange trip itŐs been!

So, when last I was here Ryan and I went to go pick up the puppy.

WellÉsince then he had a stroke in March and has been in and out of the hospital since. In the beginning of April he got booted out of our old house (due to some Christian ex-friends of oursÉlong story). So his mom came out to be here with him the end of March and they had nowhere to go. Yes. Thank Slush for being such a saint and letting them move in with you for a few weeks. Well, a few weeks turned into 2 months due to a staff infection that was attacking his heart valve. He was a permanent fixture on my living room floor. Oh, and donŐt let me forget the 2 dogs next to him. I set up a nice spare room for his mom in my old office (now my office again). I was quite disturbed at his progress thinking it would be a lot longer before he had to go to Cleveland for his open heart surgery. But 2 months later they left on Tuesday morning with the boyz (dogs) and I am left here with bunny and very lonely! I really enjoyed them here. No problems whatsoever. I was putting in bukoo hours so was really never here, so that was all right. And I absolutely love his mom! Just talked to them and they are in Cadillac, Michigan almost to momŐs house. They will leave for Cleveland to be there for his surgery on Tuesday. I am very worried and afraid. I can only imagine what he is feeling. Especially since he had a catheterization 2 weeks ago and had to be revived due to a nerve failing that works the heart.

So, in other newsÉI started a singles group in Dgo with this guy. It has been very successful. Lots of news coverage. Even considering we donŐt have a TV station here that I would normally be able to schmooze for coverage. We have had 2 events already and unfortunately I am working them or working the welcome table and havenŐt had a chance to meet someone. Ryan was giving me shit for doing them, but it was kind of fun hearing him. Not sure if he was jealous or not. We really have become best friends since this all happened. I honestly will always love that fool! Who knows when he will come back. But he left me a bunch of good stuff ie: huge TV, kick ass desk, and other stuff. He should return by October. Maybe I will find someone by then????? I am realizing that I may never find someone and I guess I am okay with that. I would rather have a few best friends than one love. (I learned that lesson last year with Ryan when I dropped all my friends for him!)

So I must thank Miss Tina for making me get back here, I am really surprised at how I have missed my d-land friends and keeping up on their doings.

By the way.. I DID quit smoking until Ryan and mom moved in and then it was all down hill and I am back to being an addict. I DO have the Zyban in the mail and ready to quit again. This time should be a piece of cake. MMMMMMM, cakeÉ.. LOL! And I donŐt even like cake. But I gained 8 pounds since then and need to get them worked off. Oh, and my long time friend from Michigan came to visit in April. We had a great time. Oh, I also went back to Tucson and Phoenix. Got some more work done on my tattoo. ItŐs hige! But I love it! I wish I didnŐt break my digital camera whilst on the caboose of the Dgo train going to Silverton. Long story.. no need to expand.

So , I hope I can stay tuned and not be gone so long. Is anyone still out there? Please send me a note. I will try to get updated with all whom I usually enjoy and keep in touch with. Until then, I have missed you and am back!
