Why is it that when I am at my brokest moment I get the 'past due' bills? I am normally pretty anal abut paying my bills on time, but this new job and apt. has forced me into financial embarrassment. If you think you will die soon, will you leave me $15K? No, really...

I house and dog and kitten sat for Ryan this weekend. I was a recluse just 30 minutes from me (which from where I live is pretty far and quiet) Actually only 15 minutes from my old trailer in the mountains. It was nice to be around animals. And that kitten is a frickin wild woman! She plays all day and then around 7pm she will come up and rub her face on yours before proceeding to find a nice spot somewhere on your person in which to nap. And not to mention the 530am eyelid wake-up call! She will get your ass up so you will go potty with her (her box is next to the toilet). So now you are wide awake and she decides it is time for a nap. Bastard I tell you!

Did manage to get me car cleaned out and washed, as well as get some good reading done in the sun.

I am still happy, wlthough I hate my apt. I just don't feel cozy here. So, what do I do? Yes, go to my local watering hole one block away. (Yes, not good on the wallet either...) I need to get outta there and away from the daily drunks that pull me into their misery. I think I have gone to work with more hangovers than when I was in college. But they have good karaoke on Sat and Sun. and YES, the Trish will sing. My favorites are Blondie, Patsy Cline, Nancy Sinatra, Dusty Springfield, and Tanya Tucker. Once a lush, always a lush.

Going to pay my bills and have a pedicure tonight.

Tomorrow is bike to work day and I intend to do just that! If my lungs don't give out first...
