mouse in the house

It took me forever to get my keyboard fixed and for the past 7 months my mouse has been very naughty. SO I finally went for the wireless mouse and what a difference. I can actually use my illustrator and photoshop without it freaking out and clicking certain things that weren't clicked. Oh, it's good to have a mouse in the house. I think my freelance jobs will be a little faster now:)
We are having 70 degree weather and on Saturday will be doing a morning snowmobile tour and afternoon rafting trip. Oh I love Spring!
I actually had a date last week (don't fall over). I was watching my boss' dog, Zoe, so we went to the park and had a dog date. Was very nice and easy person to talk to. So Sunday we were to go to a magic show (well, more of an illusionist..and that sounds better, right?) Well...no call...no arrival...I was stood up. Rec'd a call 3 hours later with some lame excuse that things were a little hectic right now ya-di-ya-di-ya. Bullshit. You have just been erased from my address book!
I have another 3-day weekend with no real plans. I got new carpeting, finally 2 weeks ago so I have been doing the major Spring cleaning. I have decided to remove those fat clothes and skinny clothes from my closet. I figure they are not helping me get into either of them. If I am reduced to just 2 pair of jeans I might actually do something about it since I can't find anything that fits in the store. Not like we have some huge mecca-mall or anything that HAS a store selection. I am in-between that shopping in the regular section and the fatty section. The regular section sz 14/16 is too small and the fatty section 16 is too big. I am glad summer will hit soon. Skirts are an easy transition:)
I have a sinus cold and went to bed last night at 9pm. Did wonders so I think I will do the same tonight.
