I have decided to write a book. A book on dating. But not advice on dating. Just my stories on dating. I have done the whole thing from online dating to a free membership to Matchmaker to accepting dates from someone I met at the bar when I had my beer goggles on (those were the worst.)
I was talking to my therapist tonight and was amazed at the realizations of why I chose who I chose and why I don't have any close relationships ya-di-ya-di-ya. I have figured out some things, but as anyone who is in therapy knows, there is never a prescription for being fucked up.
But as I look back I have some incredibly hilarious, sad, and wild dating stories. Maybe I will make my first million and can quit working.
Coincidentally I just read a book theat was published from a woman who did the writing challenge (Can't remember the name of it) I t is the one where you write a book in 90 days. It was quite entertaining. And I wonder if she is making any money off of it. Well, maybe not considering I got it from the library... I should see if that writing thing is still around. Anyone remember the name of it? Jenny Springer did it and she did a good job.
Oh well. I can always continue my mundane life as a Sales Manager who drinks and smokes too much. Well, I will still give the writing thing a try.
